Influenceurs is a documentary about dynamic and popular young millennials gaining their livelihood in the age of social networking. Six interrelated episodes examine the lifestyle of six of the latest digital stars. The series pokes its nose into their day-to-day lives, tracking the ways they shape, control, and market their image and brand through today’s leading communication tools, such as Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and platforms like YouTube. These young influencers with varied profiles open up about their relationship to popularity, the challenges of entrepreneurship, the constant search for perfection, and the pressure to succeed and reinvent themselves in order to maintain their star power. They confess having doubts and anxiety, but also high expectations and hope for the future.
