Straight for the Heart

For the past few years, photographer Pierre Kurwenal has been sharing his apartment and his life with two young people, Sarah and David, in a three-way romantic arrangement. Returning from a reporting trip to Central America that deeply affected him, Kurwenal finds the nest empty. He sets out in search of Sarah and David, who are now living together, suspecting that the breakup is final. Gradually, he slips into a psychological distress that even a relationship with a kind young deaf man cannot heal. Kurwenal eventually decides to spend some time in a clinic to recover from the depressive state he has fallen into.
